Yes. You may leave your erg to use the bathroom, stretch, refuel, or just to take a break. However, do note that your completion time will include these breaks, and the cut-off timing will remain at 8hrs from commencement (4pm).

During your breaks individual participants must remain within the Row Revolution studio premises. Team participants must have at least one team member in the studio at all times.

In addition to your participation in the event and usage of the studio facilities, you will receive the following:

  • Race pack:
    • Bag
    • Seat pad
    • Wristbands (1 pair)
  • Finisher’s medal
  • Finisher’s e-Certificate (via email)

Yes it will, provided you complete the entire 50km within the 8hr cut-off time.

If you’re rowing in the individual category you will get 50km added to your lifetime distance.

For the team category, each team member will be credited with an equal share of the 50km, regardless of the actual distance breakdown. (e.g. each member of a 3-person team will be credited 16,667 meters)

No. All finishers will receive the same finisher medal. However, your finishing time will be reflected on your e-Certificate.

If you finish earlier, we encourage you to stay around to cheer on your fellow rowers.

Unfortunately, due to space constraints, persons who are not taking part in the event (and are not the designated supporter for an individual rower) are prohibited from entering the rowing area.

  • Friends/family may drop by the studio but will be restricted to the reception area at level 2.
  • Your friends and family can cheer you on and follow your progress on the day itself via the live feed on our Facebook page.

Once you’ve completed your row, step up to the stage where you’ll be presented with your finisher medal. After that, you may proceed to refuel, rehydrate and freshen up. We do encourage you to then return to the rowing area to show support for your fellow rowers who are still going strong.

We will be playing music and/or videos throughout the event. If you have song requests do drop us an email ( and we’ll insert your track into the playlist. Alternatively, you can play your own music as long as you use earphones/earbuds so as not to disturb your fellow rowers.

We will be sharing advice on our social media channels, so stay on the lookout for them.

Addititonally, depending on demand we may hold a workshop for you to gain more confidence as you take on this challenge.
